C-SAVE (Cyber Security Awareness Volunteer Education)
C-SAVE was developed specifically for IT & security professionals to put their knowledge and expertise to work in their local schools and after school programs. Designed for easy use, the program is broken down for into four grade bands – K-2, 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12. The encourages active class
participation and critical thinking skills through the use of scenarios. Materials include easy-to-follow lesson plan and instructions, classroom tips and advice, and classroom lesson materials. Through this program, NCSA also hopes to inspire young people to consider a career in cybersecurity. We urge everyone going into the classroom (whether they use this program or another) to share what they love about their work and the path they took to get there.
