Lift Trial Program Feedback

  • Having a long initial call or in-person meeting can help things to progress quickly in the beginning.
  • It’s important for both parties to provide input in the first meeting about expectations they may have about when and how often to meet.
  • Email is a good interim connection, but phone calls often provide a more personal touch.
  • It sometimes helps if both parties are prepared for the regular discussions; there may need to be talking points, an agenda, or possibly homework.
  • For peer partners – asking probing questions may help to get the ball rolling.
  • Even if you don’t live near each other, you may be able to plan a face-to-face meeting around work, conferences, or vacation travel.
