The Executive Women's Forum on Information Security, Risk Management & Privacy will host the second annual EWF Cybersecurity Women on Capitol Hill Public Private Symposium. This gathering of 125 women cybersecurity on Capitol Hill will build upon the historic and tremendously successful inaugural event hosted in 2017.

The 2018 Cybersecurity Women on Capitol Hill Public Private Symposium will continue to raise Congressional and Senate awareness of the collective talent and subject matter expertise of women in cybersecurity and related fields. It will also further establish the EWF as a conduit for the government to utilize women’s’ knowledge for expert testimony as well as policy and legislative advice locally and nationally.

During a two day program women subject matter experts in Cybersecurity. IT Risk and Privacy will interact with their peers from 10 critical infrastructure industries as well as Federal and State government officials and staff. Each woman attending will benefit from building relationships with and gaining knowledge from subject matter experts across various corporate industries. They will also have a unique opportunity to personally meet Congressional and Committee staffers, as well as Federal Agency and Governors staff.

On **May 8th the day will begin with Federal Agency Critical Infrastructure Sector Meetings. Women will be organized according to their industry and conduct meetings with Federal Agencies such as Treasury, Judiciary, FTC, DOT, HHS etc. The purpose of these meetings is for women to both gain a better understanding of how to best interact with the Federal Agencies and to offer their subject matter expertise relative to cybersecurity issues. Women will then participate in a Tech lunch hosted at Google. Next on the agenda is a panel discussion on cybersecurity as it relates to States critical infrastructure at the National Governors Association followed by meetings with Governors staff. The day concludes with a cocktail reception on the rooftop at the National Governors Association.

On **May 9th, EWF delegates will gather in the spectacular Congressional Auditorium and participate in presentations from industry thought leaders and senior Congressional staff members. The afternoon will be spent with over 25 personal bipartisan meetings with Congressional, Senate staff and committee members. Women will have opportunities to speak with staff about cyber education, workforce challenges and the importance of engaging women in the legislative process including the opportunity to provide expert testimony.

The day will conclude with the presentation of the EWF Leadership Award to the sponsor of this event; Nancy Pelosi, Minority Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives, who has been invited to accept this award.
