Keynote Presentation: Making the Most of the Mobile Enterprise

Now that all aspects of business also run on cloud-synched mobile phones and tablets the new normal is mixed used devices (personal and corporate) communicating over untrusted networks (coffee shop wi-fi) to a handful of cloud service provider partners. The upside? We can work anyway, anywhere. The down-side: our corporate data and critical processes are literally everywhere - so our risk and privacy governance must be "everywhere" too. To kick off our day, we'll provide a quick overview of the powerful benefits in today's mobile enterprise and tee up some key discussion points that we'll deep dive on throughout the day, including - case law and sticky issues with discovery, considerations for voice data management, how to educate our "weakest link" users, communicating cost-effective mobile risk and strategies to the C-Suite, and picking the right tools for technical policy enforcement.

Speaker: Diana Kelley, Executive Security Advisor, IBM

Interactive Session – You be the Judge!

Review actual cases involving mobile e-discovery – participants will agree on how they would “decide” the case and then we’ll examine how the case was actually adjudicated. This exercise should help the participants put into practice what they learn and also get a sense of real life legal implications at work.

Session: Information Governance of Mobile Devices

Comprehensive information governance is challenging within an organization’s firewalls and on premise systems. There are a number of information-focused disciplines within any single organization, all with different, and sometimes competing, drivers for good information governance from legal, technical and operational perspectives. With the ever-growing mobility of today’s workforce, cloud-based and mobile solutions are demanded, adding additional complexity to the governance of information no longer under the direct control of IT. This session will examine the key information governance concepts that every organization needs to consider not only to comply with regulation, but to support the efficiency of their knowledge worker

Speaker: Laurie Fischer, Managing Director, Consilio LLC

2:00PM-2:45PM

Session: Voice Enabled Technology in the Enterprise – Security & Privacy Considerations

Overview of how we are quickly moving from the keyboard as a primary input device to using our own voices and what that means to managing mobile & IoT devices in the enterprise. Introduction to the Voice Privacy Alliance and some of the key deliverables available for companies to leverage today.

Session: Managing Risk in a Mobile World

Despite organizational policies, workers are driven by convenience. Easy-to-use tools for collaboration quickly outweigh concerns for security and privacy when a worker feels productive. Unfortunately, this very act can leave your company at great risk of cyber breach. Vaporstream CEO, Galina Datskovsky, provides a detailed discussion on privacy, security and compliance in terms of mobile enablement.

Speaker: Galina Datskovsky, CEO, Vaporstream
