The Information Networking Institute (INI) offers professional graduate degree programs in Information Networking, Information Security, and Information Technology that represent an exceptional fusion of technologies, economics and policies of secure communication networks. The INI also partners with research and outreach entities, namely Carnegie Mellon Cylab, to extend educational and training programs to the broad audience of people using information networking as part of their daily lives. Beginning Fall 2012, the INI will offer an Executive Master of Science in Information Assurance (ExecMSIA) for mid career and information technology executives seeking to propel their careers in the information assurance arena. Flexible to fit easily with a career, the ExecMSIA offers a concentration in cyber forensics and incident response or resilience management. Visit www.ini.cmu.edu.
The EWF INI Fellowship
The INI and the Executive Women's Forum (EWF) have partnered to offer a fellowship each year to an incoming graduate student of the INI. The EWF INI Fellowship is awarded to a student from a historically underrepresented population in the area of information networking and security, including women. Awardees, known as EWF INI Fellows, receive a full tuition scholarship and are mentored by an EWF participant who is a woman at a senior level in the information security field.
