We cordially invite you to the Second Annual Executive Women’s Forum Cybersecurity Women on Capitol Hill Public/Private Symposium at the National Governors Association on May 8th, 2018 and the Congressional Auditorium on May 9th, 2018.

On May 8th the day will begin with Federal Agency Critical Infrastructure Sector Meetings. Women will be organized according to their industry and conduct meetings with Federal Agencies such as Treasury, Judiciary, FTC, DOT, HHS etc. The purpose of these meetings is for women to both gain a better understanding of how to best interact with the Federal Agencies and to offer their subject matter expertise relative to cybersecurity issues. Women will then participate in a luncheon hosted at Venable featuring speaker Susan Molinari, VP of Public Policy & Government Affairs at Google. Next on the agenda is a panel discussion on cybersecurity as it relates to States critical infrastructure at the National Governors Association followed by meetings with Governors staff. The day concludes with a cocktail reception at the Capitol View at 400 on the National Governors Association rooftop.

On May 9th, EWF delegates will gather in the spectacular Congressional Auditorium and participate in presentations from industry thought leaders and senior Congressional staff members. The afternoon will be spent with over 25 personal bipartisan meetings with Congressional, Senate staff and committee members. Women will have opportunities to speak with staff about cyber education, workforce challenges and the importance of engaging women in the legislative process including the opportunity to provide expert testimony. The day will conclude with the presentation of the EWF Leadership Award to the sponsor of this event; Nancy Pelosi, Minority Leader of the U.S. House of Representatives, who has been invited to accept this award.
