The Executive Women's Forum is the largest member organization serving emerging leaders as well as the most prominent and influential female executives in the Information Security, Risk Management and Privacy industries.

ABOUT US

In 2002, Joyce Brocaglia, CEO of Alta Associates, the leading recruiting firm specializing in Information Security and IT Risk, founded the Executive Women’s Forum. Joyce realized that although there was an increasing number of women achieving positions of influence in the Information Security, Risk Management and Privacy industries, there were no organized opportunities for them to gather and share ideas. In response to this need, she organized the first-ever Executive Women’s Forum National Conference in 2003 to provide a safe venue that women could gather, learn from each other and build trusted relationships.

Today the EWF is the largest member organization serving emerging leaders as well as the most prominent and influential female executives in Information Security, Risk Management and Privacy. The EWF has become a home base for women to grow their professional skills and build important networks. Most importantly the EWF is committed to a holistic approach of enabling women to achieve their professional goals, preparing them to become more resilient, authentic leaders and nurturing them to fulfill their personal dreams.

ANNUAL NATIONAL CONFERENCE

The annual EWF National Conference provides a unique opportunity to connect with more than 500 global female thought leaders in Information Security, Risk Management, Privacy, and related fields. During this three-day event, attendees learn from the most accomplished and influential women in our field and collaborate on round-table exercises, incident simulations, and deep dives. Attendees gain exposure to new ideas and best practices.

GOVERNMENT OUTREACH

Each year the EWF hosts the Cybersecurity Women on Capitol Hill Public-Private Symposium. During this two day event at the National Governors Association, Federal Agencies and Congressional Auditorium, the EWF facilitates panel discussions and individual Congressional meetings on Capitol Hill to educate government members and staff. The EWF’s ongoing initiative is to increase women’s participation in the legislative process by providing subject matter expertise, educational speaking engagements and public testimony.
